Outreach Ministries

The Emmaus House is a family emergency shelter located on 150 Howe St in Haverhill MA.  Our church donates food, toiletries, clothing, and prepares one supper a month there for the residents.

Senior Center Food Pantry- Anyone may bring donations to the church which will be brought to the Merrimac Senior Center for distribution.

Christmas Family-Our congregation sponsors a Merrimac family who is in need and show them the true meaning of Christmas

Heifer Project - Is a World Wide Organization assisting communities in need.  The Congregation donates “pennies” every week in honor of birthdays and anniversaries during worship, and funds collected are used for the purchase of selected expecting farm animals. These animals are donated to an area of our choice to help a community in need.  When the expected calf is born and able to leave it’s mother, “Passing of the Gift” is given to another community in need.  In the past we have sent Draft horses to Aroostook County Maine (the poorest county in the US), Haiti and most recently to an Indian tribe in Arizona.
