Last Sunday’s worship theme was the healing of the blind man in John 9, and the example of faith as he submits to Jesus smearing mud on his eyes (a real no-no on the Sabbath too), obeys Jesus to walk blind to the Pool of Siloam (who knows how far), and worships Jesus as his Lord and God as he has not only had his physical eyes opened but also the “eyes of his heart.” The youth along with Netta did a super drama of the story. The praise band sang beautifully. After the message all came up to remember their baptism and wash in the Pool of Siloam.
