Often the people at the church work behind the scenes. There are folks who clean the bathrooms, vacuum and clean floors, clear out the pews after Sunday morning, provide rides, write cards and many others. Some of the work that might be least noticed is on the pastor’s home or “parsonage” owned and cared for by the church. Much work was done during the pastoral transition, but some of the recent jobs included pumping out the septic tank and finishing some work on the chimney.
