Last week at our second-to-last Lenten Faith and Family study we viewed the movie clip from Voyage of the Dawn Treader where Eustace is turned into a dragon. Families discussed the “beastly” characteristics of Eustace before changing into a dragon and how this traumatic event helped him to become less the beast he’d been. We played a game of “steal the treasure keys from the dragon” and “dragon tag”, and then everyone got to make their own cross out of nails and wire … the only thing that can truly take the beast out of us: the love of Christ.
