The Merrimac Easter Egg Hunt was great fun. We had 23 kids attending plus half dozen of our youth group helping out and lots of helpful parents and church folks too. Kids decorated bags when they arrived with which they could use to collect eggs. Kids were divided into two groups for egg hunting, and both groups found eggs inside and outside. There were also cross shaped sugar cookies to decorate, felt crosses to color and “resurrection rocks” to paint. Along with the crafts was a “strange picture with an even stranger story” for kids to take home. Many thanks to all who helped out and attended!
