During Faith and Family this week parents and other caregivers met at Melissa’s house with their children for dinner. Then we were instructed to think of two true statements about ourselves and one false. After dinner we each had a turn trying to trick the group! This made a fun game leading into our movie clip from the Nativitiy Story – no one believed Mary’s story that an angel had informed her she would have a baby conceived by the Holy Spirit. We had some insightful discussion and then played another circle game. Our mission craft was to make cards and loom band bracelets for our shut-ins and elders in the church. We made almost 20 of each, and hope to deliver some of them when we go out caroling!
