Holy Thursday Symbolic Seder

On Thursday we learned about the Seder Meal that Jesus shared with his disciples, what we now call “The Last Supper.” We experienced some of the traditional elements of a Seder – the kids ran around and found all of the leavened bread hidden around the worship space, and the kids hid the Afikomen, which would be our Communion bread, but couldn’t find it … so had to pay a ransom of candy to get it back! Several youth and adults read the Passover story and throughout we experienced the story as we tasted unfermented wine, parley dipped in salt water, bitter herbs and a sweet apple dish. Many thanks to all who helped out and attended! To view more photos go to this link: Seder Photos
