Our kids Sunday School started up September 23, complete with balloons! Live Big is a fabulous United Methodist curriclum that includes core Bible teaching, life application, media and fun activities. All kids PK through elementary school are invited to attend, and welcome middle and high-schoolers to serve as assistants. Sunday School will be meeting during worship on 2nd and 4th Sundays to allow children to regularly experience worship (including Holy Communion normally served on 1st Sundays) as well as study.

Many thanks to Melissa and Laurie for getting the classroom cleaned up and decorated. In addition, teachers implemented some rewards-based systems to encourage children to memorize the week’s Bible verse, invite friends to church and interact respectfully in the classroom – we would love to hear feedback on this from parents.
