In worship yesterday as a response to the sermon on Philippians 4 about the church’s generous sacrificial support of Paul, we blessed the money raised by the kids from our summer camp co-hosted with the East Parish UMC. One check was for $500 and the other for $150 from one camp family. As I took the envelope with the checks out on Monday to verify all was set to mail much to my surprise I found another check from our church … for $650. What an amazing blessing

Dear Kevin and Tammy, and all of our brothers and sisters in Haiti big and small!
We held an awesome celebration in worship yesterday and blessed the checks and prayed for all of you. My daughter and I look forward (to put it mildly!) to seeing you in a few months either in December or February. As I was mailing the checks I found an extra one that one of our families “snuck in” – another $650!!! I literally started crying when I saw it. It is an honor to support your ministry and you are blessing us more than you know.
