In worship kids learned about the Emmaus House family shelter and received treat bags with “trick-or-treat-for-Emmaus” stickers to put on them … they’ll be collecting money for Emmaus House on Halloween! During Sunday School, kids heard the parable from Matthew 25 – whatever you did for the least of my brothers or sisters you did for Jesus! Laurie and Karen plus four youth each led a couple of kids in making a tray of pasta shells so each kid participated and had fun. Some of them even dried the dishes and put them away. Then Pastor Gwyneth and another family brought over the trays to Emmaus House and they were so grateful to have dinner for that evening. Great job everyone!
