“Skits and Grits” Kids Ministry continues on September 29 for Elementary School ages during worship, meeting Sundays 10am on  9/29, 10/20, 10/27, 11/17 and 11/24. For the next three sessions, kids will cook up tasty recipes that teach a culinary skill as well as connect with the Bible.  This Sunday the recipe we’ll be making is “manna fondu” (from the Hebrew Exodus story), and the next two weeks after that will be cupcakes (from the story of Ruth and Naomi) and stuffed shells to serve at the Emmaus House Family Shelter (Matthew 25 on serving the poor).   In November we’ll be cooking and acting with kids performing skits of Bible stories in fun, modern-language skits followed by discussion. Our first session began with a hilarious skit that put a social media spin on the old Adam and Eve story! To register, please print and fill out a registration form and bring with you Sunday.
