The Strawberry Fair was held July 16 and a great time had by all. The “Sax Pack” provided music, Wanakee Cafe as well as the strawberry shortcakes and lobster rolls were awesome, hot dogs and meatball sandwiches at Wanakee Cafe raised money for kids to attend camp Wanakee, as well as the Avon Table. The white elephant table raised money for mission through UM Women, and there were many other items for sale including baked goods, plants and books. One very exciting new option was the church accepting credit cards for orders. Many thanks to Karen for introducing this option.
