On Sunday, March 26 we will have the opportunity to support the United Methodist Committee on Relief with a special collection. The United Methodist Church has designated this coming Sunday as UMCOR Sunday in order to support the overhead expenses of the organization. This allows every penny that is donated towards individual relief efforts to go directly to that cause. 

Last Spring our congregation accepted the challenge of donating and assembling flood buckets to help in UMCOR's flood relief efforts in the United States. Because of giving to UMCOR through the offering plates of United Methodist Churches throughout the world, every one of those buckets and the financial donation we gave with it went directly to those impacted by flooding. This year we will consider which of UMCOR's current relief projects we would like to support as a congregation. 

Please consider a financial gift to UMCOR this Sunday to support the organizational and administrative costs of our relief organization.
